What is actual Next-Concept Modeling?

The October 2026 NCM paper proposes generating language through hierarchical discrete representations, predicting many codes in parallel within each level. The authors report speedups versus diffusion-model baselines on research benchmarks. This concept lab uses hierarchical planning as a UI metaphor; it does not run NCM, train a model, or reproduce their benchmark results.
